At C&L Fruit, we have inaugurated our first photovoltaic field in Pichidegua, marking a significant step towards sustainability. This innovative project, carried out in collaboration with SOLCOR Chile, allows us to utilize renewable energy, reducing our carbon footprint and enhancing energy efficiency. In this first phase, the solar panels will cover 25% of the energy needs for our cherry field, serving as the starting point for additional projects where we will use renewable energy sources. “Our commitment is to provide the highest quality fruit while moving towards more sustainable agriculture. This is a change that must involve all areas of the company, and that is what we are working on,” said Martín Calvo, Director of Operations at C&L Fruit.
